Zappy is available as a mobile app for both iOS and Android. We also have a browser-based web app that can be accessed on desktop or mobile. 

A free account provides a glimpse into the power of Zappy. With a free account, you can search for a specific place and use the filters to view specials based on the day of the week, time, types of specials, and distance from you. However, search results are limited to three places. You can share individual listings with anyone, and they aren’t required to have a Zappy account to view a single listing’s details.

With a paid Zappy Pro account, you get…

Full access to all 550+ listings: Use search and filters to narrow down results, or scroll through the entire list for inspiration.

Map View: Use the map view to find specials based on location, making it easier to plan whether you’re at home, work, or elsewhere in the city. 

Favorites: If you love a happy hour spot, or don’t want to forget about trying one, you can add places to your Favorites list for easy reference.

If youYou can sign up for a free account through our web or mobile app. Here’s how:

Signing up through the web app

1. Go to https://app.zappyhour.co.
2. Click Create an account.
3. Enter your email address or sign up with Facebook, Google, or Apple.
4. If you entered your email address, click Sign Up.
5. Check your email for a verification code, and enter the code into the box.
6. Click Continue.
7. On the location page, keep the box for Austin checked and click Continue.

Signing up through the mobile app

1. Download the app from the App store or Google Play.
2. Tap Create an account.
3. Enter your email address or sign up with Facebook, Google, or Apple.
4. If you entered your email address, tap Sign Up.
5. A modal will appear asking to use zappyhour.co to sign in. Tap Continue.
6. Check your email for a verification code, and enter the code into the box.
7. Tap Continue.
8. On the location page, keep the box for Austin checked and click Continue.

You can sign up for a paid subscription through the web or mobile app. Here’s how:

Subscribing through the web app

1. Go to https://app.zappyhour.co.
2. Log into your account.
3. Click Get Zappy Pro in the right menu.
4. The pricing table will appear. Click the Subscribe button below the option you want to sign up for. 
5. Follow the prompts to enter your payment details and subscribe.

Subscribing through the mobile app

1. Open the mobile app.
2. Log into your account.
3. Tap the hamburger icon in the top right corner (the three horizontal lines).
4. Tap Get Zappy Pro.
5. The pricing table will appear. Tap the subscription option you want within the table.
6. Tap Upgrade to Pro.  
7. Follow the prompts to enter your payment details and subscribe.

If you signed up through the Apple Store, here’s how to cancel on your iOS device:

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap Zappy then Cancel Subscription.

If you signed up through Google Play, here’s how to cancel on your Andriod device:

1. Go to subscriptions in Google Play.
2. Select Zappy.
3. Tap Cancel subscription.
4. Follow the instructions.

If you signed up through the web app, here’s how to cancel:

1. Go to the email confirming your subscription, from noreply@revenuecat.com.
2. Click the link at the bottom that says “Manage your subscription in the customer portal.”
3. Follow the prompts to cancel.  

Alternatively, you can message us through the app and ask us to cancel your subscription. 

Although we are continuously reviewing and updating our database, we know we will never achieve 100% accuracy. So we really appreciate when users let us know if something in our database is incorrect. To share an update/correction, you can text, email, or DM us on Instagram. You can access all these contact options directly in the Zappy app:

In the Mobile App:

1. Tap the hamburger menu in the top right.
2. Tap Contribute data.
3. Tap the option you want to use.
4. Send us the info.

In the Web App:

1. Click Contribute data on the right side of the screen.
2. Click the option you want to use.
3. Send us the info.

We plan on implementing an incentive program to reward users for submitting happy hour updates. Stayed tuned for an announcement in the future.
